International Move Financial Planner
The 90-day countdown system for moving your money abroad — from “we’re moving” to fully landed.
Moving abroad breaks things quietly. Accounts get restricted, cover lapses in the gap between systems, and the cheap fixes are only available while you still look like a domestic customer. This workbook is the sequence, with the dates attached.

Who this is for
A good fit if
- You have a move date, or you are close to setting one.
- You hold accounts in the US and will hold accounts somewhere else.
- You would rather work down a list than hold it in your head.
Not for you if
- You moved years ago and are settled. The Financial Life Dashboard is the better fit.
- You want someone to do it for you. That is what the Financial Relocation Roadmap service is for.
Questions people actually ask
Is this US-specific?
The sequence is written for Americans moving abroad, because that is where the account restrictions and reporting rules bite hardest. The structure works for any move; the specific warnings are US-focused.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Use File, then Import, then Upload, and choose Replace spreadsheet, so the dropdown lists survive.
What if my move is in three weeks, not ninety days?
Mark the early phases Not applicable and start where you are. The workbook calculates your progress against what actually applies to you.
Will you update it?
Yes, and updates are provided free through the same download channel.
