We keep our cookie use deliberately light. Notably, our free Moving-Abroad Financial Calculator does not use cookies at all: the figures you enter stay in your browser and are never transmitted or stored.

Preferences and Marketing. We set no preference and no marketing cookies. Both categories appear in the banner so the choice stays yours if that ever changes; leaving them off changes nothing today.
Services that run without cookies. Cloudflare protects and speeds up the site, and Cloudflare Insights measures page-load speed — neither stores anything on your device. Our fonts are served from our own server, not from Google. Our free Moving-Abroad Financial Calculator uses no cookies at all: the figures you enter stay in your browser and are never transmitted or stored. The email and WhatsApp links in the footer set nothing until you click them.
Google asks for a two-year lifetime on its analytics cookies. Browsers no longer honour that — most now cap any cookie at around 13 months, and some cut cookies set by JavaScript, like these, considerably shorter. The figures above are the maximum your browser will keep, counted from your most recent visit, because Google renews these cookies each time you return.
04 Types of Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the website to function — security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie preferences. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off through our banner.
Preference cookies. Remember choices you make (such as consent settings) so you don't have to re-enter them on each visit.
Statistics cookies. Help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, how people arrive, and where they get stuck — in aggregate form. Used only with your consent.
Marketing cookies. We set none. The category appears in the banner so the choice remains yours if that ever changes. If we ever set one, it would be listed in section 3 and set only with your explicit consent.
05 Third-Party Cookies
One third party sets cookies on this site: Google Analytics 4, and only if you accept Statistics. Its cookies are named in section 3. Google processes that data under its own privacy policy. We use no embedded scheduling tools, no video players and no advertising networks. No third-party cookie is set before you give consent.
06 Your Consent
On your first visit, our cookie banner asks for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set. You can accept all, reject all, or customise by category. Your choice is remembered for future visits, and you can change it at any time (see section 7). Declining non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to use the website.
